APPSC IPO exam 2023 date announced today; download admit card from Sept 25 – Times of India

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the exam admit card download date for the post of Industrial Promotion Officer on its official website – psc.ap.gov.in. The link to download the admit card will be live on September 25. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by following the steps mentioned below.
Industrial Promotion Officers are responsible for promoting and developing industries in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The role of an IPO pertains to working closely with the government to attract new industries to the state and to help existing industries grow and expand.
The APPSC IPO exam is a two-tier exam, consisting of a preliminary exam and a subsequent main exam. The preliminary exam is an objective-type exam that tests candidates’ general knowledge and mental ability. The main exam is a written exam that tests candidates’ knowledge of applied science, engineering, and management.

Step 1- Go to the official website of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) by visiting https-//psc.ap.gov.in.
Step 2- On the homepage, look for the link that says “Web note for Industrial Promotion Officer In A.P Industrial Subordinate Services (Various Non-Gazetted Posts) (Pc.No.07) Notification No.11/2022.”
Step 3- Click on this link. You will be directed to a page where you can find the exam date and admit card in PDF format.
Step 4- Download the PDF and save it on your device for future reference.
Exam details
As per the notification, the Commission has scheduled the examination for October 3, 2023. The examination will be conducted in an objective format, consisting of two papers. The examination is set to be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
Paper-I will cover the subjects of General Studies & Mental Ability, while Paper II will encompass topics like Applied Science, Engineering, and Management.
Each paper will contain 150 questions, with each question carrying 1 mark, making for a total of 300 marks for both papers combined.
There is a penalty for incorrect answers, with 1/3rd of the marks assigned to a question deducted for each wrong response.
